The new system, operated by logistics service provider Kühne + Nagel, is fully tailored to the storage of Aftermarket products, for example ATE-branded brake discs, brake drums and cables, calipers and hoses as well as brake fluids. The floor space amounts to approximately 16,300 m2 and is equipped with a pallet area, small parts conveyor and vertical conveyors. All partners and customers worldwide will be served from this center. "If we want our customers to consider us a top-class partner, we must ensure smooth supply of our automotive products at all times. The center in Gross-Rohrheim offers the optimal platform for this and is thus coming into service at the right place at the right time", said Helmut Ernst, Vice President Aftermarket, CV & AM, at Continental.
