The program:

Core project

During the first six months of the Trainee Pool you will be based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, near the capital city Kuala Lumpur in an attractive booming region in South-East Asia.
As a member of the Continental Tires Trainee Pool APAC, you will be part of a high-performing international team that will complete one technical as well as one business assignment and one group assignment, all addressing current hot topics in the tire business. Additionally, you will help drawing up your own training plan to equip you with the necessary know-how in tire technology and all major business processes. Visits to customers, suppliers and other Continental facilities will provide you with an understanding of the overall business correlation.

Plant project

Following the core project you will be working in one of our worldwide tire plants-preferably within the Asia-Pacific region. There you will gain three months production and technology experience while also taking on the challenge of a project that targets an improvement for the plant.

Business project

During your three months business project in one of our global business locations-preferably in Asia-Pacific-you will expand your knowledge of business related topics. For instance, you can gain a first-hand experience in purchasing, finance and controlling, marketing or sales departments.

The requirements:
You are a university graduate (Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D.) or young professional with first work experience in a science, engineering or economics background. You have a passion for tire technology, development/production, and business administration as well as an excellent command of Engilish for daily communication. You are also creative, self-motivated, open-minded and a responsible team player who enjoys working in a multicultural environment. In addition, your eperience abrouad is most welcome.
