Charlotte, NC (September 28, 2005) - Continental Tire North America, Inc. (CTNA) Passenger and Light Truck Replacement Group is introducing two new online initiatives at the beginning of October 2005. The new initiatives are online tools designed to make product information and marketing materials more accessible to company's business partners.
The first initiative, E-Zone online training, is the next generation of Continental's CD-based product training. This innovative training tool provides users with an easy access to Continental and General Tire product information and helpful selling scenarios. The features and benefits of each product are demonstrated through interactive lessons, incorporating various audio and video sequences.
The second initiative, CTNA's Web Toolbox, serves as an online resource for Continental and General Tire marketing materials. With the Web Toolbox, authorized users can order point of sale materials, signage, catalogs and variety of other products designed to enhance brand identification as well as download logos and tire photography. The Web Toolbox adBuilder feature also allows the creation of branded ads for use in newspapers, flyers or magazines.
"We are very excited to launch these two new online initiatives," said Andreas Gerstenberger, CTNA's Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Passenger and Light Truck Replacement Group. "We are always looking for ways to improve our services. These tools are specifically designed to provide our business partners with a flexible and easy access to our training and marketing materials."
CTNA's business partners can access these tools via ContiLink, CTNA's dealer extranet.
