The new ContilceContact™, with its asymmetric 3D-rip-tread, tie-bars arranged in crosswise grooves and aggressive off-shoulder design, offers improved performance and optimal handling on all surfaces. Special compound technology with fully synthetic plasticisers ensures the perfect balance of flexibility and rip-tread rigidity – which means improved winter performance over the whole life cycle of the tire.

Shorter braking distances and optimal grip on ice.

The new Brilliant Plus stud design, with its larger stud surface area and stud fixing, ensures optimal distribution of forces between the stud and the ice in comparison to traditional studs – and therefore provides greater safety and driving comfort. In addition, Crushed Ice technology prevents ice building up in the contact areas between the profile blocks and road surface, which enables optimised grip on ice and shorter braking distances.

Thanks to innovative soft compound technology, the new ContilceContact™ has a particularly high level of traction. The special mix of rubber makes the tires more elastic while ensuring that they retain the same amount of stability. This enables the tires to grip the road more easily – and offers the driver increased safety in all weathers.
